The hose I was told to purchase did not actually work with my carpet nozzle. I had to make some modifications and tape the cord in place for it to reach the hookup. It works, but it is not ideal. All I can do is see if they can do anything to help.

The new hose works great. It is lighter weight than the original, which is nice too. The swivel coupling built into the hand grip is a good idea.
