So I did, I took a chance on a motor that is $100 cheaper. It fit perfectly and worked perfectly. The original motor had a longer shaft for a cooling fan to mount to. This one has no way to attach the fan. So now I'm concerned that it will over heat without a fan. Or maybe this one is designed not to run hot or can handle the heat. We will see it time.

NOTE: There are two digits following the six digit Lamb Ametek motor number -00 unless otherwise noted. Regardless of the -## they can replace each other. However, -13 should be used in all vacuums involving water. -07 motors simply have different wire ends. Motors can be used in vacuum and blower applications.
