If I was ranking only the motor itself I would give it a 5. I have to include the shipping department in this review. The Good. Website is easy to use and it's easy to find the correct part and order. The motor works fine, fits perfectly. Now the bad. Motor was slightly damaged in shipping from poor packaging and rough handing. The damage was to the exhaust port on the motor. Small metal chips were knocked off the end of the exhaust port and deformed the port so it was slightly out of round. Not a big deal but if I had not removed the small metal chips from the motor before installing they may have caused motor failure. Improved packaging and quality control checks in the shipping department may be needed. I have previously communicated this info back to the company and am sure corrections will be taken.

Perfect drop in fit. Significant improvement over declining function of original (bad lower bearing). Over 15 year life on original so I imagine this one should last at least as long.

We bought our Sears Vacuum System about 40 years ago and it works great. It started making more noise and I could tell a bearing was going out. When I looked up the part number your company listed the replacement motor assemble at the best price. When I received the replacement it fit into our Vacuum System without any modification.

Motor does not have the power to pull up anything heavier than bird feathers and some dog hair. Very disappointed. Responded to an email received
requesting a Central Vacuum Accessory Purchase Follow Up
which indicated my disapointment and help in resolving this problem and have waited over a week with no response.
