I almost replaced my whole unit but that was so expensive and would require re-piping the system. I considered getting motor brushes but the bearings would still be 20 years old. Now that the motors have been installed I am glad I just replaced them. My unit works as good as when it was new and I think it will be a long time before it needs any further repairs.

NOTE: There are two digits following the six digit Lamb Ametek motor number -00 unless otherwise noted. Regardless of the -## they can replace each other. However, -13 should be used in all vacuums involving water. -07 motors simply have different wire ends. Motors can be used in vacuum and blower applications.
