I'm not an electrician but I found the installation of these motors to be relatively easy, and I did the job in an hour or less. My vacuum has a lot of suction now (I guess I had been operating with a single motor for who knows how long) and I'm very satisfied. Shipment was fast as well. Thanks

Excellent fit as replacement for the two 6336 motors in my Wal-Vac unit (vintage 1986). The old 6336 motor is actually 6 and 3/8 tall - but for my unit the 6.5 inch height works just fine. The ordering form was confusing about wire sets for this unit(were they included or did I need to order?). So I ended up with an extra set. Old gaskets were rescued - but used a new set cause I'd ordered them. (NOTE: Motor includes a wire set.)

After some checking, it was found that both motors needed replacement. The Ametek motors and included wire set were an easy install. The motors were a bit taller then the originals; but are easily accommodated within the cover/housing. Never realized how much we missed this central-vac system! Thanks Central Vacuum Online!
