The gasket was fine but I could not use this, the motor sat up to high in the vacuum when this was put on.

The gasket supplied was NOT the same as the original. I did not use the new one.

the gasket was laying over the top of the motor and all deformed it would have been better on top of the box under a piece of cardboard or between the cardboard

Gasket was too thin for the Vacuflo vacuum unit that I owned. I had to use the original gasket. Other than that everything was fine.

Ended up not needing it but it was in-expensive and probably would have needed it if I didn't have it.

Not as good as the original, which I realized later was easily removed from the old motor I was replacing so I used that.

The parts we received restored our central vac system to good as new condition. Thank you.

I couldn't use this gasket. I was going to use it when I replaced a motor (Ametek Vacuum motor #115335). This gasket is about .25 inch thick and is too thick for the Vacuflo cover to go back on. I used a bead of clear silicone instead. However, the quality of the gasket looked fine.

An unnecessary recommendation by a site for a replacement motor for a VACUFLO 26 central vacuum. (USE ORIGINAL GASKETS as a rule of thumb.)

Awesome motor Gasket. Maybe the best I've ever used. The adhesive backing stuck and the plastic was completely intact and remained intact during and after the installation. As a gasket aficionado, I can say "well done"
.....yes, I'm kidding.

Cannot say the gasket could be used when it arrived. It was crumpled in such a way that it would not lay out flat to be attached to the vacuum unit. In addition the adhesive seemed to be old and no longer sticky to do the job. I sound have returned it, but I used the old gasket and placed new adhesive on it and the old gasket worked perfectly.

Fit perfect

The gasket was the right outer dimensional size and fit the seating fine even though the width is much smaller than the original old one that came with the unit.
Installation is fairly straight forward and easy.
