Question: what is the internal diameter (ID). I need to connect Sears vacuum unit exhaust pipe to outside exhaust hood.

This is a standard 2" OD central vacuum pipe coupler. Kenmore pipe is known in the industry to be 1.75" OD. Please measure the OD of your exhaust pipe in order for us to find a compatible pipe adapter for you. These pipe adapters are not currently listed on our website but you can give us a call during business hours for more details and options.

Question: I have an older model Kenmore Central Vacuum (from what I can determine my part # of 116-4053180 it is actually a Husky). The piping is 1.75 inch OD. Do you have fittings for this? I am looking for a coupling at the moment. Also, I am looking to buy one or two wall plates to have as spares, do you carry them for this unit? Thank you for your help! Bob Vandermark

Hello Bob, thank you for contacting Central Vacuum Online, my name is Ally and I am happy to assist you today.

You will need an adapter to go from the 1.75" pipe to a standard 2" OD Central Vac Pipe and then to new pipe and back to the 1.75" pipe using another adapter. We do not have the original valves. You can try to contact Kenmore for these items or call us direct for options on updating to industry standard valves. Thank you.
