Use this to repair a broken switch on your Plastiflex central vacuum hose. This kit includes the switch assembly with wires included. This kit does not include the low voltage handle. The two way switch included in this kit will not work with electric hoses.

Question: Will this switch work for the 1600 model

We will need the model information from the wall end of your hose cuff to determine compatibility for you.

Question: I have a Vacuflo 560, I need to know if this switch will work, I open the wall end of the cuff, but only # I see is D9

We will need to know the manufacturer of the hose in order to determine compatibility. you do not need to take the cuff off to see the information we need. Do you see a P within a circle, molded into the plastic of your hose wall end cuff? You can also reply with a picture of your hose handle to determine compatibility.

Question: I have a Vacuflow 460 and I don't know which end, handle or wall inlet is broken. If I pull the prongs out a little the vacuum runs but the switch doesn't. Do I need a new switch or wall outletinlet?

It sounds like you are referring to the 2 prong Low Voltage only, proprietary Vacuflo hose. If this is the case, you will want to contact Vacuflo directly to troubleshoot the hose. Thank you!

Question: My Eureka Central Vacuum system was installed 34 years ago and the hose has developed a hole in it and cannot be used any longer. Is it possible to replace the hose with the plug in on it to attach to the main vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately I bought another hose and does not have a way to plug the quotbeaterquot function into the vacuum itself. Thanks for any help you can give.
