Longer Pieces? Use Schedule 40?

Question: can I just use regular plumbing pipe since it comes longer than 4 feet, thanks

Central vacuum pipe is Schedule 11 and not available in the USA apart from central vacuum businesses. Schedule 40 pipe will not fit properly causing clogs and less air flow. Also, it doesn't match the connection to vital central vacuum parts such as the backing plate for wall inlets. Schedule 11 is much thinner for cost savings and easy of use. Longer pieces are available from local central vacuum dealers in your area.

Question: What is the I.D. of your 2" pipe?

This is not a scheduled 40 PVC pipe where it is measure in I.D. our is much dinner with the 2" O.D.
