The Ametek Lamb 119631 Motor for central vacuums, blowers, and similar applications replaces all versions of the 119631 motor used in all types of industries spanning many decades. Older model 119631 motors may not be marked properly with the motor number and some may have 11-9631 or just a 9631. We do not recommend rebuilding these types of motors due to cost and technical precision for proper performance and longevity.
Replaces 6600-001 including HL10 P-9 ECD. Also, clip the wires from the old motor to splice into the new motor wires. Need wire nuts and possibly washers to make up 1/8" difference on bolt threads when tightening.

Seems to work fine. There was a smoky smell the first use or 2, but thats probably just breaking in. Have used for about 10 hours now.
It also appears to be an OEM motor, and was the most inexpensive i could find online, delivery was prompt. Very happy.

The motor is actually quieter then the old motor when it was new .

This motor works great amp great price. You want this one with the bulge on the bottom because it as a result has a higher flow rate vs the model with a flat bottom. The metal mounting flange thickness is 18quot thinner than the original plastic so you will need rubber washers to make up the difference (do NOT use metal washers). If you want to reground the new motor (not really necessary) then use a self threading screw in a hole at the top of the motor housing to attach the ground wire. I would give this 5 stars but the rubber washers should have been provided- luckily I had some amp avoided a trip the the HW store.

Irsquove had it in for a month now and it works perfectly. Installation was pretty easy. The Ametek is actually simpler than the stock motor so it didnrsquot hook up wire for wire but it was easy enough. My central vac is back to 100%. Thanks CVO.

Price was great and delivery very fast! New central vacuum motor is working fine and the one year warranty is more than fair. Many online sites sell parts for these vacuums - one was even a couple of dollars less, however their site stated quotNo warrantyquot implied on any purchase on their page and everything is sold as-is!
Central Vacuum Online stated their one year warranty very clearly. My only concern was a call to them resulted in the rep saying my old motor did not have a 6 digit # to select the right replacement. Not true. I found a page saying some old #'s were incomplete. I ordered anyway and the motor was the exact replacement.
