My greatest THANKS for your help in finding a replacement motor for my central vac system. My system has been in for over 20 yrs. and has been totally trouble free. The motors that have been made are absolutely top of the line. When I disassembled the motor I was shocked and surprised at how much of the brushes were still left. I don't know why the commutator started arcing, which led to over heating and eventually short out, and burning the sectors.
I am truly thankful that I bought a quality system such as this, and even more that there is a company that carries on the support, and, parts for this incredible system.
My thanks again for your business and help even for such an old system as mine, and that I don't have to replace my whole system for another brand that I am sure that wouldn't compare to the one I have. I can't say enough about the quality, and I hope that this message reaches out to all that have had a part in producing such an incredibly reliable system. Everything, from the hoses, carpet heads, and attachments are incredibly made for a lifetime of use!
We are in such a throw-a-way world anymore, that it is such a admiring feeling that there are companies that produce such high quality systems that are so dependable, and enduring, and that will back their product for as many years as you have.

The 116765 motor is a direct replacement for Beam 2100.
We don't have proper cross reference but if your motor looks like this one then you have a match!
When trying to start the vacuum, if you don't hear a click at the unit tank, then the circuit board is bad and should be replaced as well. But if you hear a click at the tank then only the motor needs to be replaced.
It is the same motor at our 116765, sometimes the 11 gets left off the brand on the motor as it is somewhat understood to be part of the actual motor number. We typically recommend replacing the gasket when the motor is replaced.
The Lamb motor #116765 is not compatible for the Eureka central vac CV3291D. A compatible replacement motor for your system is the #119631.
Thank you for the excellent questions. Here is a basic understanding of how these motors are given a warranty. Ametek offers a one year warranty or less. Vacuum manufactures that use the motors offer a longer warranty at their own risk. Retailers selling motors installed by the end user have a shorter warranty to minimize risk of mishandling. That said, most all manufacturers and some retailers (like us) are generous and will work with any issues for your benefit even after the warranty period.
