Did the job that the a-bit-too-short-hose didn't perfectly.

Works great with the new Husky central vacuum cleaner we installed.

Pleased with this purchase. The extra 12 ft extension hose length now means I can reach several areas where I couldn't before. Works fine and a much more economical solution than buying a new longer complete hose unit.

Nice quality hose which is compatible as advertised.

Perfect solution! IMPORTANT- if you have a hose with the 110V pins for a powerhead, you CAN use this extension IF you just need suction. You need to remove the flip cover on the extension (easy) and that opens a space for the pins. We just needed to reach a section of hardwood floor, so didn?t need the powerhead so this extension was perfect.

It works great.

With a little modification, this is a great addition to my vacuflow system. high quality hose, far nicer than the hose that came with the unit. The fitting was not quite right for my outlet, but we were able to trim it to fit.

Exactly what I wanted. Delivery time exceptionally fast. Quality is good.
Suggestion Devise a way to attach the extension securely to the original hose.

Really a plus, having an additional, 12 feet for vacuuming in my large house.

There's nothing necessarily wrong with this hose, however it doesn't fit with the current product with remote electrical connectivity (2 prongs on each end). Customer service is good.
(CVO Notes: This extension is not compatible with 2-pin hoses. The customer returned this item for a full refund.)

Perfect. Fits in the receptacles I had installed 6 years ago and is a great add on to my long hose.
It's always great to extend your hose.

Great option to be able to buy an extension hose rather than having to install another outlet in our home and far cheaper. The hose works great, but it would be nice if it came with a cover or option to purchase one, to prevent it from marking up the corner of the walls.

Exceeded my expectations...the ends are keyed to insure line up of slot between pins! Hose is stiffer than desired but I will not be moving it so that is ok!
Ask a Question
All Beam models had many different types of hoses so here is how to figure it out: If the hose has an electric cord on the wall end then you can use the extension but the cord would need an extension cord on it. If your hose has two pins on the wall end then the extenion is not compatible. If your hose has no cords and no pins it is compatible.
Direct Connection hoses have two metal round pins that slide into two small electric holes above the suction hole in the inlet faceplate. If you don't have two pins on the wall end of your hose then the Extension Hose is compatible.
Please verify if your inlet valve measures 1-1/2 ID or just a bit less. There is not a raised part on the wall end of the extension hose. If your raised part starts the suction by engaging something then this hose will not work for you. But if you are talked about a tab of plastic that doesn't engage anything electrical then yes, this hose will work for you.
Compatibility: 1) air or basic hoses (no switch on handle), 2) low voltage hoses (switch on handle), and 3) corded electric hoses (three way switch). NOT compatible with direct connect electrical hoses (two pin connection on wall end of hose). Systems with a 1-1/4 inch diameter inlet hole can be adapted, please let us know to determine how.

Yes, you can use more than one Low Voltage Extension. However, please note the following:
Using multiple extensions:
• Will add bulk to the hose making it awkward to use
• May decrease overall suction
• May effect on/off switch functionality
