Ask a Question

CV450 Same Motor?
Question: There is an upper and lower motor on my central vacuum. The lower motor is bad. My question is does this motor work in both positions? I have a Nutone Model # CV-450W and the # on the motor is 6210-50.
CVO's Answer:
This motor has a different bottom that allows it to connect to the first motor. Other than that they are pretty much the same motor, however, they were designed to work as you see them so we recommend keeping them that way.
Question: I have a very, very old carpet cleaner extractor that has two 120v motors. I can#039t find any identification on the cleaner or the motors. They do have hose connections like pictured on this motor. Is this motor used on extractors. Thanks, Bob
