(5/5 Stars) - Overall Rating from 38 Users
The Ametek Lamb 116210 Motor for central vacuums, blowers, and similar applications replaces all versions of the 116210-85 motor used in all types of industries spanning many decades. Older model 116210-85 motors may not be marked properly with the motor number and some may have 11-6210-85 or just a 6210-85. Great product. Vacuum runs like new. The suction is even better than new.

I got almost 15 years out of the original motor, which is about standard. I'll be glad to get as much from the new one. Cost is less than 14 of a whole new vacuum unit, so it was an easy decision - provided one can install it themselves (easy). Keeping the wife happy.

The motor was identical to the one that burned up. An easy swap.

Can't imagine an easier process, all the way from ordering, to price, to installation.
I'd never done this before, so the online instructions were also a bonus.
Central vac is now back up and running great. The motor is a spot-on match of the original.
Not a big deal, but the post-ordering communication could have been better. Never received confirmation e-mail or order tracking info as promised. So 2 days after ordering, I called and spoke to very courteous rep who assured me the info would be sent. Never got it. Motor arrived in a timely fashion, in about a week, so as I said, not a real big deal.
If I had to do it over again, I'd have no problem ordering through CVO, and if I come across anyone needing to do a repair, I'll recommend CVO to them!

The motor arrived overnight, which was very helpful, as it is difficult to be without a vacuum cleaner. The motor was installed and everything is working well. Thank you.

Thanks for the expedient service! The motor was an exact replacement and works fine.
Only because you asked.....it would have been nice if the motor wires had the appropriate crimp-on terminal attached, otherwise A O K.
Ask a Question
This motor has a different bottom that allows it to connect to the first motor. Other than that they are pretty much the same motor, however, they were designed to work as you see them so we recommend keeping them that way.
