The relay on my Circuit Board burned a whole in it and quit working. It was easy to spot when I took the cover off of my Central Vac unit. I could have got a direct replacement for it but the Central Vacuum Online web site said that they have an quotUpgrade Boardquot for it. I bought the upgraded board for less than the original board cost even though the operator I spoke to said that it did not have the Power On LED. I decided it's easy enough to tell if the power is on with a Voltmeter. Instillation of the Circuit Board and reinstalling my Central Vacuum Unit after repair took less than 45 minutes and it does have an LED built into the Reset Button. It works like a champ and the Relay that burned out on my original board was rated at 30 Amps while the Upgrade Board has a 40 Amp Relay! While the 30 Amp relay worked for 10 years I expect a much longer lifespan for the 40 amp relay as the motor is only rated at 12.6 Amps. Videos supplied by Central Vacuum Online make the repairreplacement simple for anyone to follow and complete your own repair. I saved over $400.oo doing the rapairs myself, opposed to the local Vacuum Rapair service I called about rapairing my units. This is simple work and their operators will help guide you toward what to check for to get to the bad component and get a replacement ordered! Thany You very much Central Vacuum Online!

We carry a durable, generic circuit board for Nutone systems available to ship within 24 hours (Single Motor System Circuit Board #M-CB15A). The mini-breaker and low voltage connection tower come with nuts that screw down and secure the board to the outside of the vacuum tank. If these two holes do not align with holes on the vacuum tank a new hole will have to be made. We suggest using a step drill to drill the additional hole.
You can view our Universal Circuit Board for the Nutone CV353 on our website. Please note: this board contains the necessary components to operate your system, but may not be an exact replacement. This may require you to remount the board in your unit.
Hello and thank you for contacting Central Vacuum Online, my name is Ally and I am happy to assist you today.
If the board has power it is more likely to be a motor issue you are experiencing. When you try to turn the unit on manually, do you hear an internal clicking sound?
