cost to ship was unreasonable

The product was sent in great time, and seemed to be in great condition. But it didn't fix my hose that seemed to have a broken switch. (Replacing the old switch with a new one didn't repair it. So I don't know why the switch isn't turning it on or off.) I ended up getting a new hose.

Hello and thank you for contacting Central Vacuum Online my name is Ally and I am happy to assist you today.
We will need the model information from the wall end of your hose cuff to determine compatibility for you.
Hello and thank you for contacting Central Vacuum Online, my name is Ally and I am happy to assist you today.
We will need to know the manufacturer of the hose in order to determine compatibility. you do not need to take the cuff off to see the information we need. Do you see a P within a circle, molded into the plastic of your hose wall end cuff? You can also reply with a picture of your hose handle to determine compatibility.
Hello and thank you for contacting Central Vacuum Online my name is Ally and I am happy to assist you today. It sounds like you are referring to the 2 prong Low Voltage only, proprietary Vacuflo hose. If this is the case, you will want to contact Vacuflo directly to troubleshoot the hose. Thank you!

Your Submitted Question:We have a vacuflo 260, I can't find a model or manufacturer anywhere on the hose, how can I send you a picture to verify compatibility? One more question, the switch will not turn onoff the vacuum but it works well by turning the hose 90 degrees when plugged on the wall outlet, will replacing the switch fix the issue?
CentralVacuumOnline.com's Response:
Unfortunately there is no specfic hose that directly coresponds to each central vacuum unit model, this can be a bit confusing as it means there are a number of possible accesories that may or may not be interchangeable. We would love a photo of your current hose to help identify if we have the appropriate replacement part. To answer your second question, yes it does sound that the switch is out on your hose which may be the reason you are not able to turn it on/off at the switch.
We apologizewe could not be of further assistance at this time.

If depends if your hose has a have a "P" within a circle molded into the wall end cuff it would be compatible.
The switch assembly is compatible with Hoses that start with Series XY on hose cuff, and hoses with a circle and a P with a squiggle stamped on the hose cuff.
