No other clamps would hold, but, this one does the trick. Great product. I highly recommend it.

My vacuum tubes are 1 38 inches at one end and tapering to 1 18 inches at the other end. Will this clamp fithold them?

These actually, Hold a round 1-1/4" diameter wand only.
