Small Inverted Cloth Filter
For all central vacuums whose support rim is 11-1/2 inches wide. You can also measure the diameter of the vacuum tank once the bottom is removed. The inverted cloth filter is made of high quality "self-cleaning" material, with a weighted middle. To remove, pull inward from the top edge which will cause it to flex and fall out. To clean, power wash and let dry completely. To reinstall, push rim inward and let it snap into place inside the groves of the tank. Filter should be replaced every five or so years.
Note: For Broan it only fits models CV20, CV30, CV30D, V20C, and V30C.Top Customer Reviews

So far it work very well. Easy to install.

Inverted, center weighted, cloth filters are removed by pulling the edge inward. The stiff outer rim flexes toward the middle releasing the tension is has around the inside of the tank. If it is difficult, try lifting any edge with a screw driver as you tug the fabric toward the center. To replace the filter, indent the stiff outer rim inward, position rim between the grooves around the tank, and let the rim snap into place.

This bag will not have any areas to screw into place. We carry several different diameters of this inverted, weighted cloth bag and they fit most central vacuum systems with like cloth filters. You will want to contact Hoover direct for the correct bag that will secure in place with screws. Thank you.
